Local host page only works in google chrome

Hello I am hoping you can help me.  I am having problems with Wampserver 2.0. 

I can't get the localhost page to open in IE or firefox

It does work in google chrome though

I tested port 80 and it does show Apache/2.2.11 (Win32) is used by this port

I am not using skype

I can't get to the index page with the loopback address 127.0.0.1 either

I am using windows XP professional

I would like to just use google chrome but I need to run a vbscript unfortunately (not a fan)

Any help you can give me would be great!

A) What URL are you entering in your browser?

B) What does a 'view source' in the browsers that don't work show you?

C) What is the raw source code for the page you are trying to view?

I am entering  - http://localhost/

I have attached the view source code I get when I open it in IE

In FF it is just blank and there is no source code

The page called index is the test page for Wamp server 2.0

Not knowing how you got to this point, but that it works in one browser, I would suggest clearing your browser caches and try again.

I have deleted the temp files and I reset IE but it still is not working.
