Hi there, I have a .htaccess file that is supposed to redirect a directory to a php file with the arguments on the php file.

Example:

http://Images.Domain.com/cutekitty

Redirected to:

http://Images.Domain.com/ViewImage.php?imagename=cutekitty

This is my .htaccess file:

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9-]+)$1 /ViewImage.php?id=$1 [R=301,L]

Thanks!

After doing even more search, I have come across the solution, it was that my server did not have mod_rewrite service started, and also, my rule was a little bit off:

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9-]+)$ /ViewImage.php?id=$1 [R=301,L]
