Mal1t1a
Hi there, I have a .htaccess file that is supposed to redirect a directory to a php file with the arguments on the php file. Example: http://Images.Domain.com/cutekitty Redirected to: http://Images.Domain.com/ViewImage.php?imagename=cutekitty This is my .htaccess file: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9-]+)$1 /ViewImage.php?id=$1 [R=301,L] Thanks! Mal1t1a
After doing even more search, I have come across the solution, it was that my server did not have mod_rewrite service started, and also, my rule was a little bit off: Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteBase / RewriteRule ^([A-Za-z0-9-]+)$ /ViewImage.php?id=$1 [R=301,L] Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/206813-why-is-this-giving-me-a-500-error/#findComment-1081612 Share on other sites
