Rottingham
Hello! I'm on the Email Marketing Bandwagon. I'm in some of the final stages of my first version of eNewsletter marketing software, PHP/mySQL based that is a standalone product dropped onto peoples web servers. The product works very well, includes click tracking, auto unsubscribe, double-opt in features, target segmentation, etc. Where I'm stumped at the last stage is knowing just if the email was opened! I've toyed with a couple ideas like having a javascript item that is housed on the server of the newsletter software that would then call the software to track the opening but I'm not 100% sure how to make that work. Does anyone have any advice, ideas on how that could be worked in?
