soma56
I know that PHP is primarily used for server-client interaction and otherwise spitting out html. I'd like to steer towards creating apps using javascript and php and would like to know if anyone has any recommendations on using either: Adobe Air Titanium or PHP-GTK? Adobe seems to have the monopoly of the market however, can php work flawlessly within Adobe AIR? Titanium looked promising however it's seems awfully new and although they claim to run applications at 1 tenth the memory of AIR the lack support scares me. I don't know much about PHP-GTK. Are there other solutions I've missed? Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/208873-php-for-desktop-application-air-titanium-gtk/ Share on other sites
Mchl
Adobe AIR and Titanium still require a web server to serve the application. They're runtimes for internet applications after all. Another example although a lot simpler would be Mozilla Prism.
