make javascript work on ajax responseText

Hi , i have a serious problem. I am inserting a form in my page using ajax. Now i want to apply javascript on the input field of that form which is called by ajax responseText. The function of javascript code is to apply jqueryui datepicker calendar to one of the fields. i know you cannot directly apply scripts on responseText but their must be another way?
