URL Rewriting - Redirect help

Hello everyone

 

I'm new to SEO and URL rewriting. Currently, I'm trying to play around with it but I can't make it to work the way I want.

Current code:

RewriteEngine On 
RewriteRule index.php index/ [R] 
RewriteRule index index/ [R] 
RewriteRule index/ test.php 

 

What I'm trying to do is make, whatever I enter index.php, index or index/, it to redirect to test.php and if nessecery, add last slash. (I want the last slash to be there all times). So far the redirection part works like it should, it redirects me to test.php whatever I enter index.php, index or index/ but it wont add the slash there. What am I doing wrong
