ridgey28
Hi I have been working on a simple event manager for a while now and I thought that having a RSS feed incorporated into my script is a good idea especially as it is for displaying events! I have it working perfectly but if I was to release my script then I was thinking that I should have a setting in my options page to turn it on or off for people that don't require it. What are your thoughts on it? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/210738-some-advice-on-event-manager-rss-feed/ Share on other sites
Alex
You're just asking if you think it would be a good idea to have the option to disable it? If so then yes that would be a good idea. ridgey28
Yes I was just wanting an opinion or 2. I think it is a good idea too. I shall now implement this into my script. Thanks Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/210738-some-advice-on-event-manager-rss-feed/#findComment-1099349 Share on other sites
MadTechie
I think it would be a good idea to have the disable option as some people wouldn't want their users having that option, and it should be a lot of code so yeah extra anti feature won't hurt Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/210738-some-advice-on-event-manager-rss-feed/#findComment-1099409 Share on other sites
