corbeeresearch
I was requesting my Employer to enable mod_rewrite and pdo, but I got scolded, they said that it was disabled because they said it was insecure, once there was a person who used joomla to developed and that this caused hackers to hacked the whole server. Is this true? Because I'm suspecting that the person in charge of the server is outdated. xeronix
If you're safe with both of them, they are NOT insecure. However, I do know that Joomla was exploited with the Mod Rewrite bug but swiftly patched. I suppose you could write a document explaining how Joomla was exploited and how it was patched (should have been documented somewhere) I use both of them to keep my URLs nice and clean.
