corbeeresearch Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 I was requesting my Employer to enable mod_rewrite and pdo, but I got scolded, they said that it was disabled because they said it was insecure, once there was a person who used joomla to developed and that this caused hackers to hacked the whole server. However, I do know that Joomla was exploited with the Mod Rewrite bug but swiftly patched. I suppose you could write a document explaining how Joomla was exploited and how it was patched (should have been documented somewhere) I use both of them to keep my URLs nice and clean.
