dle46163
Does anyone know if restarting IIS or totally rebooting a Windows box with IIS will destroy all of the PHP session data? Or does restarting / rebooting cause the PHP garbage collector to immediately run? Brian Swan
I think that, by default, PHP uses file-based session data (i.e. it stores session info in files), so restarting IIS does not lose session data. Hope that helps. -Brian Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/212058-iis-restart-session-data/#findComment-1105280 Share on other sites
