working with quantities

Hello,

 

I'm at a total loss, how do I make, for example; 5 pies cost $1, and pies can only be bought in multiple's of 5?

Erm... maybe not the best way to do something like this, but it give the option to build outwards, I suppose.

 

function buyPies($amount) {

$cost = 1; //cost of a bunch of pies.
$units = 5; //Amount of pies in a bunch
$costPerUnit = $cost / $units; //Cost of each unit in a group of pies.

$total = 0;
$qty = 0;


$total = $total + $cost * $amount;
$qty =  $qty + $units * $amount;

return array('total' => $total,
		 'quantity' => $qty);
}
