process keeps shutting down.

I can not remember how to do this...

I open Putty, and run the following:

nohup ~/envne/curl/mp3 &

I thought it was supposed to allow me to close putty, and it would keep running, but when I log back into my server using putty, and do:

ps -u ryannaddyps

it doesn't show up in my processes.

Am I doing something wrong?
