Display td below td

Hi All,

I am trying to style a table that I have no control over (I can not add or remove elements from it or restructure it etc.).

Very simply it looks like so:

	<div class="wrapper">
	<table>
		<tr>
			<td>aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa</td>
			<td>bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb</td>
		</tr>
	</table>
	</div>

This results in:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

But I need bb... to drop below aa...

If I set a width to the wrapper div of 50px and float the td's left in almost all browsers the tds drop to below each other:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

But this does not work in IE6 or IE7...

Does anyone know a workaround to make it work in these 2 browsers?

Thanks!
