dagnasty
Recently my hosting provider 1and1 moved my site which consists of 1 script to an "auxillary server" for too much resource usage until i fix the problem or get a dedicated server. Since they don't provide resource usage stats I was wondering if timing the script a lot of times and getting the average time it takes to parse and multiplying it by the amount of time the script is run a day, could I get an estimate or anything close to the amount of CPU time my site uses? Thanks,Brian Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/21444-determing-cpu-usage-time-with-php-timer/ Share on other sites
HuggieBear
You should be able to request some proof/advice from them about the usage, maybe they'll tell you about the calculations they use.In the mean time, why not post your code with a title of 'suggestions for optimisation'.RegardsHuggie Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/21444-determing-cpu-usage-time-with-php-timer/#findComment-95561 Share on other sites
