The customer asked not to have anything dynamic and they did not want a php form to submit emails. I am just working with the constraints they gave me. So I am really just asking you to critique my design work. Please leave me any feedback good or bad I'm glad to get some ideas. http://nicknackery.com/

Thanks,

Colton Wagner

under those terrible constraints you have its pretty awesome.

maybe change the black background to a very very low opacity repeating picture. and make the nav bar a little cooler since its all the sites got.

but it looks fine if you dont wanan do anything

Yeah, the background is something I just can't decided on I've tried a couple different things so until I find the one I like black it is. As far as the Navigation bar goes I tried to keep it very basic because there are only four links. Thanks for the advice!

Here's my thoughts:

1. Menu needs to be MUCH bigger.  You have a giant logo, it needs to at least compete with that.  Also menu colors should match the logo in some way.  In general you should have a color pallete and be working from it.

2. Don't like the background tile behind the site.  Whatever you do with that, you at least need some sort of border treatment so it doesn't look so plain.

3. Considering that the site is doing so little for the business, I'd suggest at least adding a facebook wall area of their fans.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
