jamiejack
Hi, I have been updating an old script that was using split() and im finding it hard to find what to use instead? The manual says to now use preg_split I have tried this and get an Warning: preg_split() [function.preg-split]: Delimiter must not be alphanumeric or backslash error. code: while ($array_results = fgets($fp, 1024)) { // Get results 1 at a time and list them list ($user, $score) = split ('\|', $array_results); $high_scores["$user"] = "$score"; // Then store as an associated array ready to sort Could someone please suggest how i can achieve this and still keep the | as my delimiter? Many thanks Jamie Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/215065-updating-script-using-split/ Share on other sites
