mgrav
I have created a css menu for the top of my site that is included on each page with a php include. What I am wanting to do now is create the side menu options for each page from the one file. Each page will have different links side links based on what section of the site you are in however I want to administer them all from one php file if that is possible. I'm quite new to php and am not sure if I can even do this. Any ideas on how this can be done? gizmola
Yes you can certainly do that, using the same include() mechanism. Just put the different side menus in separate files. Check out the switch() statement and have the menu pass a page=pagename url parameter. $page = $_GET['page']; switch($page) { case 'faq' : include('faqmenu.php'); break; // one case for each menu file case 'home' : default: include('homemenu.php'); } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/215265-creating-multipul-menus-from-a-single-file/#findComment-1119495 Share on other sites
