pulling data out of an remote html table

the above link is an example of an html table i am trying to pull data out of i need help on starting a code the will pull that first and last name out of that table so in this case i need it to pull out John doe does any one have any idea on how to do this

I'm not sure of your experience level with php, but my first suggestion would be:

 

fopen(); You can grab the file with this function.

 

And read the file with function: fgets()

 

You probably want to read the fgets() result into an array as well like: arrayName[] = fgets()...

 

This should get you started. You will certainly need to experiment some and determine a delimter for parcing the data - most likely preg_match() could help you with the main field names etc..
