This website uses a certain PHP script, two images are shown and you click on the hottest one

this looks like a basic PHP script but i'm a beginner so if you could please tell me how the script works:

How two images are randomly selected?

and how it stores them?

if you know of any scripts or software currently available

it would be greatly appreciated
