Drop Down Menu Acting Up

Hi Guys,

 

I have two problems:

1 - When you hover your mouse over the 'Other' button in the navbar, it doesn't function properly. Instead, it lowers the image in the backround and makes the 'Other' button go in a much higher position. Could anyone give me a hand figuring out this problem?

As you may or may not see, the 'home' and 'Forums' button are not aligned on either sides of the backwards 'T' that's blue. It only aligns if your screen size is like mine, 1440 x 900. Could anyone help me out on how to position these buttons so they're inbetween the 'T' for all screen sizes?
