I m having problems with installing PHP. First i installed XAMPP cause i used to have it and everything was working just fine. Now when i installed it the HTML part works fine but not the PHP. If i try to open XAMPP index.php file it says "Something is wrong with the XAMPP installation :-(". Or when i use the fallowing code"<?php phpinfo(); ?>" nothing appears. After reinstalling and re-downloading it many times i gave up and installed WAMPSERVER which serves the same purpose but still nothing, PHP is not working. If someone could tell me what to do i would really appreciate it. Its very frustrating when i have to spend so much time and effort in setting up an environment instead of programming.

Which version of Windows is that?

Do you have administrative privileges?

Did you delete all XAMPP folders before installing WampServer?

Is WampServer's icon in system tray white or yellow/red?

If it's yellow - are you using Skype?
