brianlange
I've started my first codeIgniter project using ci 1.7. It uses PHP 4. I've read that ci2 is PHP5. Should I wait for a stable release of ci2 to started using codeIgniter. I would like to avoid having to rewrite my applications after codeigniter is updated. Thanks, Brian Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/219642-codeigniter-question/ Share on other sites

sKunKbad
If you're using 1.7.2, there really aren't any reasons to upgrade. 2.0 doesn't do a whole lot more for you. They say it's ready, but they why haven't they released it?
