AJAX map moving

Hey,

 

Does any one know of any example scripts on the net that use grid like panels where you use ajax to navigate a character walking around on the grid ?

 

I'm trying to find a simple example so i can dissect it but having difficulty finding it on the net. I'm mainly just finding flash stuff but wish to do it in AJAX.
