Hi I am new to php and currently trying to allow users to update random fields of the table.

I only have 5 fields in my table.

this is my code so far...

<?php

$con = mysql_connect('localhost','root','password');

mysql_selectdb('myshop',$con);

$r=$_POST['userid'];

$test=array("['fname']", "['lname']", "['email']", "['username']", "['password']");

  foreach ($test as $x =>$value);

  $query=("UPDATE users SET fname='$x WHERE userid = $r");

  echo "Record Updated" ;

?>

the HTML:

<html>

<body>

  <form method="post" action=noname3.php >

  <input type="text" name="userid" /> </br>

    <input type="text" name="fname" /> </br>

    <input type="text" name="lname" /> </br>

    <input type="text" name="email" /> </br>

    <input type="text" name="username" /> </br>

    <input type="text" name="password" /> </br>

    <input type="submit" name="submit" /> </br>

    </form>

    </body>

    </html>

any sugestions???

Thanks
