Hi everyone, I'm a newbie in PHP, but I have previously learned some other scripting and programming languages. I'm currently doing some web designs and have this form problem that I hope can get some help with.

 

First of all, I used PHPFormGen to create a registration form, but the captcha image wouldn't show up. I did a direct copy paste, but the image didn't show up locally or when i load the page to the web server. Content of the PHP file is attached below, it's strange to me because the

 

I also would like to know how you can process Chinese text from a form. I used GB2312 encoding both on the webpage and the PHP file (header function), but my PHPmyAdmin process it like some un-recognizable characters. I have also set the phpMyAdmin to use a chinese bin encoding.
