Cannot connect to web server mysql database

Hi,

 

When i am trying to run one script on my web server, i get following error

 

Cannot connect to the database using the info you provided

Access denied for user 'My_Username'@'localhost' (using password: NO)

 

I filled all info like Host(localhost) Database name(created in cpanel) Username(created in cpanel) Password(i kept blank dont know where to find this)

 

 

You help will highly appreciate

You need to create a database user that has access to your database

This is done under the database section using the linke labelled Mysql Databases

You will see a section to add user enter a user name and a password

Then select create user

after that there is a section directly under that "Add user to Database"

Select your new user then select your database you want to use and click add

Give that user all permissions and click modify

 

This is the user name and password you will use to connect to the database

I already created all the steps you given, but with not added user to my database and not given enough privilages, also the password was incorrect..
