Internal Server Error

Hi,

 

I am hoping someone can help. On my local using WAMP i decided to add a list of bad bots (to my knowledge they are all bad bots in the list below). I found it online and decided to use it because my site is live on the internet and am getting allot of spam although i have implemented spam features i decided to take things a step further. My new site which will soon overwrite the old site is on local and doing everything on local before hand, my new site also has much better spam features.

For some reason i get the following error when adding the list above to my .htaccess.

 

Internal Server Error

 

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

 

Please contact the server administrator, admin@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

 

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

 

I decided to check the log and i got this:

 

[sat Feb 19 21:15:46 2011] [alert] [client 127.0.0.1] C:/wamp/www/.htaccess: RewriteCond: bad flag delimiters

 

Could someone please help and explain why i am getting this error and most importantly how to fix it?

 

I also deleted everything from my .htaccess and tried with just the above list in it and still the same so i guess i am doing something wrong.

I just noticed a line there

 

'RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^WebFetch [OR]'

 

I think that could be for www.webfetch.com which is a search engine that I actually use, so maybe best to keep that if it is for them? Just a thought.
