deadduck Posted February 22, 2011 Share Posted February 22, 2011 I am writing a program in PHP and I am thinking of making it translatable into other languages. I am thinking of using either gettext, php-gettext or simply including a language file. Gettext would be my preference, however the only problem is I'm not sure whether most hosts would be able to support gettext without a lot of hassle. php-gettext would be good if it weren't apparently so slow and having a language include file is fast, but doesn't have any sort of fallback if something is unavailable.
