Spixxx
http://www.templateaccess.com/demos/webrainbow-3d-html/portfolio.html On a website like this, how do they smooth the fonts? I know its not text on the website, I think it's an image. But the input for it is just <h1>Your text here</h1> And somehow it turns into smooth text, or an image. Is this css? If not, how can this be achieved. It looks very nice. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/229842-smoothing-text/ Share on other sites
cssfreakie
They use a technique called cufon for that. maybe want to have a look at it. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/229842-smoothing-text/#findComment-1183891 Share on other sites

Spixxx
I said it was still unsure how to use it. I didn't say I couldn't find it...don't be a smart ass. Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/229842-smoothing-text/#findComment-1184648 Share on other sites
cssfreakie
i am not a smart ass, but that was a tutorial i was linking to, so i could be a smart ass and post exactly that here, but that would be a waste of my and your time now wouldn't it. here is another one: http://maxmakedesign.co.uk/how-to/6/cufon-tutorial-installation-guide-how-to-install-2 REally it can't be any clearer than this. if it doesn't work: what did you try what is your code, do you have it on-line, can we see it. Spixxx
I can't download the file the generator creates. It says I havent agreed that I am allowed to use my font, when I clearly check the terms&conditions box on the previous page. Try it, theres a problem with their generator. cssfreakie
uh well, i would say send them a mail. I am not their admin, and if this is the only cufon generator? (is it?) than you won't be able to use, it which i doubt because i know quite a some people that use this for every day designs. Another way would be to use Sfir never used it myself though. and otherwise php GD library i think or maybe even typekit: http://typekit.com/?utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=cufon&utm_campaign=cufon Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/229842-smoothing-text/#findComment-1184772 Share on other sites
