Hi There,

I wonder if anyone can help me.  I have a C# program which loads in a .csv using StreamReader (TextReader).  I split by the comma which is ok but I have the following line to find the end of the file :

while ((input = tr.ReadLine()) != null )

The problem is because the file is dumped off by a old DOS program, the last line contains some sort of escape character.  When openning the .csv  in notepad or excel the character is a thin arrow pointing right.

I am pretty sure its unicode character 2192.  I need to adjust the line of code above to see this character and to stop reading the line.

I can't just remove the symbol at the bottom as its automatically generated daily for multiple files.

Thanks for any help :)

Duckstar.
