Helped need to get the value,id of the item clicked in an iframe

Actually i  have a php in which i include another html page.In this html page ,i have

photos of all the students(name and id displayed at the bottom of the photo) in an iframe.

So in the php page when the html page is loaded,all the pictures of the students will be displayed.

Now I want to get the name and id of the student i clicked in the iframe.

is there any way to get that.

tried with this code

is the iframe content on the same domain as the parent? If not, you cannot access that content.
