Hi everybody, I'm using wordpress to blog from my cellphone and when I post via my cellphone.  The post gets tagged as being 12 days in the future.  I'm a complete neophyte when it comes to coding in general, so please excuse any ignorance on my part.

Here is the code that handles the post

[code=php:0]
<?php
require(dirname(__FILE__) . '/wp-config.php');

require_once(ABSPATH.WPINC.'/class-pop3.php');

error_reporting(2037);

$time_difference = get_settings('gmt_offset') * 3600;

$phone_delim = '::';

$pop3 = new POP3();

if (!$pop3->connect(get_settings('mailserver_url'), get_settings('mailserver_port'))) :
echo "Ooops $pop3->ERROR <br />\n";
exit;
endif;

$count = $pop3->login(get_settings('mailserver_login'), get_settings('mailserver_pass'));
if (0 == $count) die(__('There doesnt seem to be any new mail.'));

if there is no elegant way of fixing the problem, is it possible to just force a 12day 8hour offset?  As it is consistently off by that much
