twilitegxa
Is there a way to grab the Flash code from this website and place it into another website without having to get the backend code (ie. using the View Source option)? http://southfloridaboating.com/ I'm working for a client doing one website while another contractor is doing the above mentioned one, and they asked me if I can grab the Flash slideshow just from viewing the page, but I didn't see any way to. Is it possible? Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/232672-grab-flash-slideshow-from-website/ Share on other sites
cssfreakie
Yes you can do this, If you look in the source code you can see the filename and relative path. (in the casse there is no path so that means the file is in the same folder as the index.php (in: http://southfloridaboating.com/preview.swf) So if you just copy paste the embed code and change the file to http://southfloridaboating.com/preview.swf it should work. twilitegxa
But there's no way to get to the FLA file if the other developer didn't upload it to the server in order to edit the images, is there? And THANK YOU by the way! Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/232672-grab-flash-slideshow-from-website/#findComment-1196984 Share on other sites
cssfreakie
it's not a .fla, it's an swf file. Well that are probably some ways to nick it, try this: http://www.google.nl/#sclient=psy&hl=nl&q=download+.swf&aq=f&aqi=g5&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&fp=47b62fecd59497ff first result in google explains it.
