gebohoka Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 Hi, I have a simple application of the following scenario: Mster Record - (PriestID, Priest Name, DateServiced, ordinationYear) on Details - (layID, ServiceRequested, CounselDetails, Status) I want to use editable datagrid on detail pane while i can add new details or change priest ifo. mens Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 As for editing: Your best bet here would be: upon click of the record column(within the datagrid) the text would be transformed into an input element holding the record ID and current value. From there, when the user clicks a button, the data is sent through an ajax request to a remote script, which in turn updates a database. As for adding: A simple form should suffice to your needs.
