brianlange
A visitor of my site sent in a screen shot of a avg threat alert. The alert mentions the jquery 1.4 minified file. Has anyone experience this? Is the minification of the file is what is triggering the alert? I suspect if I tried the development version of jquery that there might not be an issue. markjoe
Quite possible. Exploits have be executed through javascript and would typically be obfuscated, so AVG may alert simply because it is minified (obfuscated to AVG). I'd say test it out with the minified and dev file. I know I'm curious to see. I use jQuery quite a bit and haven't had this problem. brianlange
Thanks for the response. I am testing whether using the google url for jquery will solve the problem. -Brian Quote Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/235383-avg-threat-alert-from-jquery/#findComment-1211643 Share on other sites
