zythion Posted May 9, 2011 Share Posted May 9, 2011 Hello, I'm new to php/mysql/etc.. I used to play an online text based browser game called campaign of the cosmos.. Unfortunately, the game creator decided to take the game offline back in 2006.. That's why I've started to learn PHP/ MYSQL, so that I can remake the game. I've started off at realitysleeps.com I don't think I'm making bad progress considering I started making it about a week ago. Since starting the project I've been in contact with someone else who used to play and also has his own browser game (though not completed), so luckily he's also helping me out where he can.. Although he's not online as much.. :/ He's also zipping up the files of his game, along with the databases as a sort of resource for when I'm learning.
