Homepage error

Does anybody know why I would be getting this error? If i just type in the web address the homepage is displayed, but if I type in the web address/index.php it appears, it also appears when I click on any link on the website that would take you to the homepage??

you refer to the error as "it", can we see exactly what the error is so we may know how to address it

The code i posted is the error I'm referring to. That code is displayed instead of my homepage

the code is not in any of my files, I have never seen it before, that's why I presumed it was some sort of error, it just appears whenever I click on a link that should go to index.php

Is that your hosting company? If so, contact them about this. In fact, you should contact them anyway.

I havn't dealt with a situation like your before, but as mjdamato said, that looks like something caused by your hosting company...

It was to do with the cache memory on my computer, alt + f5 did the trick, now the link works fine
