Newbie needs help or link to writeup

I have created a form using all the nice features of Dreamweaver. Using the application thing to put in my mysql data pulls and putting them on the page where i want them. I now come to a place where I am stuck. I want to create a form that will allow me to update the fields that have been pulled. I created a page with the form and it does pull the information from the mysql database that I want. The submit button does not work because I cant figure out how to get dreamweaver to make it work with what I want done. I want to do an update on the pulled fields, not an insert.
