I'm looking to create a user login script for multiple users with predefined usernames and passwords (i.e. I'll provide my clients with a username and password that they can use which is specific to them). I would create a page for login, and after a successful login I'd like the clients name and other information specific to them to be displayed, nothing too complicated, just when their last payment was etc, or a reminder for their next class with us). As I said, I'm new to PHP so the idea baffles me a little as it seems there's so much going on from scripts I've seen. My site is hosted with 1&1 and they provide the ability to create a MSSQL database from my control panel, and from what I've seen it seems to be the preferred method for storing/calling data. Can anyone point me in the right direction/provide an example of how this could be implemented. Thanks in advance!
