haku Posted October 11, 2011 Share Posted October 11, 2011 jQuery is a library used for manipulating DOM elements. Element validation is not DOM manipulation. You may want to insert success/failure messages with jQuery after doing the validation, but jQuery itself isn't the right tool for validation.
