Popup checker not working on IE

Hi there,

 

I've been using this which works perfectly on firefox, however, IE doesn't even attempt to load the popup:

Is this code outdated for IE's capibilities?

what the version of your IE? it works fine in my IE6

Yes sorry it works. How do I define where that document.write displays using a div?

 

Edit: Also is it possible to include HTML links in the document.write
