galvin Posted November 1, 2011 Share Posted November 1, 2011 I'm using the getimagesize() function on image URLs brought back from my database. 95% of the time, it works as intended, but if the image URL brought back links to an image that is no longer at that location, I get the warning below. How can I add some code that says in plain english "if getimagesize() fails to open stream, don't show the warning"? I don't want to turn warnings off, so there's got to be a nice way to prevent them from coming up in this situation, right? "Warning: getimagesize(http://example.com/1/image.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found in..."
