There are applications that according to the visitor, they suggest him some particular items or services. They can identify and separate the users in different categories so they can treat each category of users with different way. They also can identify what are the interests of the user and recommend similar items. An example of a recommender system is the one used by Amazon when you make a purchase and at the bottom of the window a box appears saying "Users who bought this item also buy...." and a list of similar items. Does anybody develop a system like this using PHP code or this is not possible? Does anybody know how I can develop a system like this in my website?
