Audio analysis on the web is barely existent, it is usually possible with Flash and other than that it is bare. Generally audio processing is quite primitive on the web. I am wondering what you guys think how it will be when JavaScript becomes extended so it can process audio as well? I am looking for a functionality to measure the distortion levels of audio and also its volume process. Maybe it can be done with Flash but I would rather like it with JavaScript.
