Having already googled this, i cant seem to find any info that is definitive. I know that most uk numbers are 6 digits not including the area code, but i was wondering if the US is the same or different. In the US, you usually do have to include the country code in order to call a number in the US that is outside of your area code - or even calling someone in your area code but you want to specify the area code for some reason.
