SieRobin Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 I have a script that tells who is an active member or who is online at that time. The way I have it set up is by putting a line of script on every page that logs to see if the person is still on. How it works is, if you click another page then it updates a line into the DB saying that you're online. I heard there's a way to do this with Cron jobs and Session IDs which would probably be a better route for me. If anyone could explain how to do it to me, maybe it'd give me the right idea to get on track. gluck Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 I think if you maintain sessions in the Database you will always have an active session id which will let you know who is online or not.
