AbydosGater
Hi, Today i installed Apache2Triad,And everything was running fine, untill i asked a mate if he could access my files via my ip addy in his browser, and no he couldnt,So i edited the ServerName and the Listen in my conf to point to my ip 86.42.103.46:80.Ok and when i went to restart apache i got the error "The requested operation has failed".So i thought it might be the changes to the conf, so i went to undo them and couldnt remember the default values, so i just renamed the conf and started using the conf.default.httpd .But even no when i go to use run apache it wount work! Why is this? and what can i do to fix it??Please help
jwilh
I dont know what to do off hand to fix it but I would say that since you are new to it try downloaded XAMPP and reinstalling it the easy way along with MYsql and filezilla that comes with it. I have worked with it and it makes everything alot easier for beginners!
