To me none of them are.

 

Computers, Operating Systems, Applications, Websites and Browsers are just trying to keep up with one another to current and future technology while still making it work for older machines and technology.

 

It has and most likely will always be a changing and unstable environment, having a few that work for the most is actually quite an impressive feat.

 

I for one prefer Firefox, Chrome as a backup (never seem to need it), and Internet Explorer just to see how much it can break websites.

I know I hate constant updates of browsers, but to me that means they are at least trying to make it better.

 

So my answer to you is always get the latest versions.

This thread is more than a year old. Please don't revive it unless you have something important to add.
