Help! Syntax Error on Line 496 - Can Anyone Tell Me How to Fix?

Recommended Posts

I installed Apache 2.2.22 and PHP 5.2 without issue but have what I think is a minor error to resolve - But I am complete neophyte and it is all so new I need help.  Here is ther error I am getting:

Syntax error on line 496 of C:/Apache 2.2.22/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load C:/Apache 2.2.22/php5apache2_2.dll into server: The specified module could not be found.

I can open the httpd.conf file in Notepad++ and see what is on Line 496.  But I don't know what to do to resolve the error.

Can anyone help?

Thank You.

Hello Gizmola -  The dll file was not there initially but I copied and pasted it where it was suppose to be and I got a new error something to the effect of  Syntax error on line 495 of C:/Apache 2.2.22/conf/httpd.conf can only execute one argument (or something like that - best I can remember with going back and copying it).

I messed with this for hours and have never been able to get Apache to fire-up.
