raduenea
I have a table in mysql where i have save the name of some pictures. exemple: Code: [select] Select picture from table; This will show all the pictures from that table. The problem is that I have file names in mysql table that physically don't exist on disk. So, on select sometimes will show blank variables. I want to insert a file check in the select statement . I know that is possible in php but I want to make a select only with that files that physically exists. How can I do that? Thanks Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/263081-file-check-in-select-statement/ Share on other sites
Psycho
You can't do that in your query, you will have to do it in the PHP code that processes the query results. Such as while($row = mysql_fetch_assoc($result)) { if(is_file($row['picture'])) { echo $row['picture']; } } Although, you might want to also include a process to remove invalid entries as well.
