jbradley04
So, I want to extract domain names off a website that are listed on the site. The website has other information so I am just trying to extract the names, ie. something.com There are no proceeding www or http. They are just presented as something.com Here is the code I have but I guess I was wondering if there was a preg_match that could cathc the .com and what proceeds it? $content = file_get_contents('http://website_I_am_gathering_data.com'); $price = preg_match('@^(?)?([^/]+)@i', $content, $match); Also, when I have this information, how can I cycle through the names? While command? I really appreciate all the help! J Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/263521-preg-match-help/ Share on other sites
smoseley
$price = preg_match_all('/[a-zA-Z0-9\-]+\.com/', $content, $matches); foreach ($matches as $match) { echo "{$match}<br />"; } Link to comment https://forums.phpfreaks.com/topic/263521-preg-match-help/#findComment-1350500 Share on other sites
